Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings reported first-quarter results for the fiscal year ending March 2027 on August 13, 2026, with operating profit up 20.6 percent year on year to 18.877 billion yen, a record high for a first quarter. Revenue rose 3.8 percent to 128.912 billion yen, while net profit increased 18.5 percent to 22.316 billion yen, including extraordinary gains of 10.884 billion yen from the sale of shares in an affiliated company. The company raised its full-year forecast to revenue of 562 billion yen, operating profit of 84 billion yen, ordinary profit of 83 billion yen, and net profit of 63 billion yen, and also announced a two-for-one split of its common shares effective October 1, 2026. By segment, operating profit in the department store business grew 24.4 percent to 15.5 billion yen, leading the gains, while the credit and finance and real estate businesses also posted higher revenue and profit, but the other segment, which includes travel, saw profit decline due to higher costs.
