Johnson & JohnsonRaised full-year adjusted EPS guidance by $0.18 at midpoint
Johnson & Johnson's worldwide sales grew 5.6% operationally in the second quarter of 2026, but that headline rate hides a double-digit underlying growth pace once the shrinking STELARA biosimilar drag is excluded. The STELARA headwind narrowed to about 460 basis points from 540 basis points in the first quarter, and STELARA was only 4% of the Innovative Medicine segment in the second quarter. TREMFYA, which leads new patient starts in inflammatory bowel disease, grew 71% and posted its first $2 billion quarter. Management raised full-year adjusted operational earnings per share guidance by $0.18 at the midpoint, though MedTech cardiovascular grew just 3.1% and Abiomed declined 2% amid physician caution over a neutral U.K. trial.
