Jefferies Financial Group reported second quarter net revenues of $2.21 billion, with net earnings attributable to common shareholders of $226 million and diluted earnings per share of $1.02. Investment banking net revenues reached a quarterly record of $1.21 billion, up 57% from the prior year quarter, driven by advisory and equity underwriting. Equities net revenues also set a quarterly record at $601 million, up 14%, while fixed income net revenues rose 12% to $199 million. The board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.40 per share and increased the share buyback authorization to $250 million after repurchasing 4.0 million shares for $197 million during the quarter. CEO Richard Handler and President Brian Friedman cited strong momentum and market position, expecting further growth in the second half of 2026.
