Intel CorporationCramer cites surge in CPU demand from agentic AI, with CPU-to-GPU ratio potentially 4:1, boosting Intel's business.

Jim Cramer declared Intel his new favorite stock on Mad Money, pointing to CEO Lip-Bu Tan's resolution of the company's foundry problems and a surge in CPU demand driven by agentic AI. Cramer highlighted that the ratio of CPUs to GPUs could reach four to one, which he called incredible and said would produce an explosion of business for Intel. He noted that under the previous CEO, Intel's foundries were a mess, but Lip-Bu Tan, a real engineer, has solved those issues, with foundries coming online for several years that Cramer expects to be solidly profitable. Intel has started production of an 18A-P chip node foundry, which could attract orders from Apple, and Elon Musk's giant Terafab project is another Intel partner. The stock finished up 3.5% on a day when the broader market rolled over after a Federal Reserve statement.
