Jindawei and its subsidiaries recently obtained two Chinese invention patents and one U.S. invention patent. The Chinese patents include a carboxylesterase mutant, its preparation method, and a method for preparing S-3-cyclohexene-1-carboxylic acid using it, as well as a sweet protein mutant, its preparation method, and applications, with both granted on June 30, 2026. The U.S. patent covers a carbonyl reductase mutant, its preparation method and applications, and a method for preparing ethyl R-6-hydroxy-8-chlorooctanoate, granted on June 23, 2026. The company stated that these patents will not have a significant impact on near-term production and operations, but will benefit technological innovation and improve the intellectual property protection system.
