Wuxi Jinyang New Materials Co. Ltd. AFirst-half non-GAAP net profit nearly tripled on strong lithium battery demand.

Jinyang Precision disclosed its 2026 semi-annual report. In the first half, it achieved operating revenue of 1.177 billion yuan, up 59.57 percent year on year. Net profit after deducting non-recurring items was 53.82 million yuan, up 295.35 percent year on year. The company said the lithium battery industry continued to enjoy high prosperity. In the first half, China's lithium battery shipments reached 1.2 terawatt-hours, up 50 percent year on year. Power battery and energy storage battery shipments were 630 gigawatt-hours and 485 gigawatt-hours respectively, up 30 percent and 80 percent year on year. While the main business grew rapidly, the company incubated and established Zhili Sensing, engaged in research, development and production of six-axis force sensors, and made a strategic equity investment in Guohua Intelligent, laying out core robot components such as harmonic reducers and planetary roller screws. In terms of production capacity, the Jingmen and Xiaogan bases have taken the lead in putting equipment into production, while the Xiamen base and the Malaysia overseas project are progressing in an orderly manner as planned.
