Johnson & Johnson announced the commercial launch of the Dual Energy THERMOCOOL SMARTTOUCH SF Platform in Europe, expanding physician access to a dual-energy catheter ablation solution. The platform combines the Dual Energy THERMOCOOL SMARTTOUCH SF Catheter with the TRUPULSE Generator, enabling delivery of both radiofrequency and pulsed field energy through a single catheter. Built on the globally validated THERMOCOOL SMARTTOUCH SF platform, it integrates with the CARTO mapping system to support personalized treatment for atrial fibrillation. Clinical data from the SmartfIRE study showed 86.9% effectiveness at 12 months with high workflow adherence, along with improved quality of life and reduced hospitalizations.
