JPMorgan Chase & CoJPMorgan reported record revenue, higher EPS, and raised NII guidance, all exceeding estimates.

JPMorgan Chase reported an 86% year-over-year increase in equities trading revenue and raised its full-year net interest income guidance to $105.5 billion. The bank achieved record revenue across every major business line, with adjusted earnings per share of $6.14 and adjusted revenue of $52.4 billion, both exceeding Wall Street estimates. CFO Jeremy Barnum attributed the exceptional equities performance to one-time events including major IPOs, index rebalancing, and dynamic activity in Asian markets. The higher net interest income guidance, up from $103 billion last quarter, was driven by markets-related net interest income due to changes in balance sheet composition. Credit quality remained benign, with nonaccrual loans and nonperforming assets declining from the prior quarter.
