June Household Spending Falls 3.3% in Real Terms, Marking Seven Straight Months of Decline

According to the June household survey released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications on the 7th, consumption spending per household of two or more people was 290,886 yen, down 3.3 percent in real terms from the same month a year earlier after adjusting for price changes. This marks the seventh consecutive month of decline.
