Strategic partnership to co-develop and deploy Kalmar One automation solution, setting new industry standard.
Kalmar and APM Terminals have announced a strategic partnership to advance next-generation terminal technology. The collaboration includes joint development and deployment of the Kalmar One automation solution, with APM Terminals integrating its operational expertise into the platform. A key component is the development of an Automation as a Service approach. APM Terminals already uses Kalmar One at its Pier 400 terminal in Los Angeles, the largest container port terminal in the Western Hemisphere. Both companies say the partnership will set a new industry standard for collaboration in terminal automation.
