Kasikornbank, or KBANK, disclosed that loan growth in the second half of 2026 will be mainly supported by large corporate clients, following signs of economic recovery and substantial foreign investment inflows. In the first half, loans grew 3.32% year-to-date. At the same time, the bank must accelerate the search for alternative revenue streams after the Bank of Thailand announced reductions in four fee categories covering 19 items, effective from 1 July 2026, with all items to be adjusted by October 2026. Chief Executive Officer Ms. Khattiya Intharavichai said the bank is ready to extend credit to businesses that can prove their strong performance, even in high-risk industries, while advancing toward its Net Zero goal. It targets a green loan portfolio of 500 billion baht by 2030, up from 300 billion baht, with around 200 billion baht already achieved.
