KGEN reported that car bookings from the Big Motor Sale event exceeded 10,000 units, reflecting sustained high demand despite the low season. The majority of bookings came from the OMODA & JAECOO brands, with approximately 5,000 units, followed by CHERY with 2,200 units, and other brands with over 600 units, securing the top spot at the event. Combined with the 22,000 bookings from the Motor Show earlier this year, this year's total bookings are satisfactory. The company is preparing to deliver approximately 20,000 more vehicles in the final four months of the year. The factory has a production capacity of over 5,000 units per month, with plans to increase to two shifts. Additionally, a new luxury brand is set to launch at the end of the year to complete the portfolio from Eco Cars to luxury vehicles. The company also plans to invest billions of baht in the automotive parts business to build a comprehensive supply chain.
