Kohl's has appointed Ryan M. Waymire as its new Chief Merchandising Officer, effective September 28, reporting to CEO Michael J. Bender. Waymire brings 25 years of retail experience from Walmart, Amazon, and Target, most recently serving as SVP of Fashion at Walmart U.S. In his new role, he will oversee all merchandising functions, including buying, omnichannel merchandising, product design, and sourcing. He replaces Nick Jones, who has held the position since 2023 and is leaving the company. CEO Bender praised Waymire's track record in transforming merchandise strategies and integrating collaborations and social media influencers into product stories.
