Konami Group has announced its first-quarter results for the fiscal year ending March 2027, with revenue rising 33.6% year-on-year to 129.524 billion yen and operating profit climbing 63.3% to 45.285 billion yen, both setting new first-quarter records. The digital entertainment business drove overall performance, posting revenue of 100.083 billion yen, up 36.5%, and business profit of 43.87 billion yen, up 57.4%. The soccer World Cup effect boosted eFootball, while new titles such as Powerful Pro Baseball 2026-2027 also contributed. The gaming and systems business saw revenue surge 64.9% to 12.388 billion yen, swinging from a loss a year earlier to a business profit of 827 million yen. Full-year forecasts remain unchanged, with revenue expected at 505 billion yen and operating profit at 143 billion yen.
