A progress announcement on an investment by listed company Korrun Co., Ltd. has unexpectedly disclosed the latest market valuation of leading domestic AI firm DeepSeek. Based on the announcement data, DeepSeek's valuation after this funding round has climbed to approximately 351 billion yuan. Korrun's wholly-owned subsidiary, Ningbo Purun Investment Partnership, used 40 million yuan of its own funds to subscribe for a stake in Tianjin Lisi Xingling Venture Capital Partnership. The fund has a total paid-in capital of 2.9 billion yuan. Lisi Xingling has invested all of its paid-in capital indirectly in Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Basic Technology Research Co., Ltd. by subscribing for corresponding partnership shares in Hangzhou Chengli Enterprise Management Consulting Partnership. Lisi Xingling indirectly holds a 0.8265% equity stake in the target company. Based on this calculation, DeepSeek's overall valuation in this financing round is approximately 350.877 billion yuan, and Korrun's ultimate beneficial ownership in the target company is about 0.0114%. The company clarified that this investment is a financial investment and does not have a material impact on its overall performance, but cautioned that the target company is still in an early stage of development and may face risks such as technology R&D falling short of expectations and intense industry competition. A person close to DeepSeek confirmed that with the completion of this funding round, the company has now begun initiating a second round of financing, but it has not yet been decided whether it will sprint for a listing on the STAR Market by year-end.
