Kosmos Energy announced that the J76 well, the third well of its 2026 drilling campaign offshore Ghana, was completed and brought online in mid-June, contributing approximately 20,000 barrels of oil per day to gross production. Jubilee field production averaged around 72,000 barrels per day in the second quarter of 2026, with an exit rate exceeding 85,000 barrels per day. The next well in the program, J77, is completed and expected to start production imminently, which is projected to lift gross Jubilee output to about 90,000 barrels per day. In Mauritania and Senegal, the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim LNG project lifted nine LNG cargoes and one condensate cargo during the second quarter. The company also reported good progress on the farm-down of its Tiberius project in the Gulf of America, with completion anticipated in the third quarter.
