Kosmos Energy LtdNet debt reduced by over $400 million, improving financial position.

Kosmos Energy reported strong initial production from its new J76 well in Ghana, pushing the Jubilee field's second-quarter gross output to about 72,000 barrels of oil per day. The well, online since mid-June, is contributing roughly 20,000 barrels per day, lifting the field's exit rate above 85,000 barrels per day. The next well, J77, has been completed and is expected to take gross Jubilee production to approximately 90,000 barrels per day, with the final producer well, J50, due online around the end of July. On the financial side, net debt fell to approximately $2.56 billion at quarter-end, a drop of over $400 million since year-end 2025, driven by debt reduction initiatives and free cash flow. The company remains on track to deliver a roughly 20% year-on-year reduction in net debt by the end of 2026.
