The sell-off was led by memory names Samsung and SK Hynix, which tumbled 13.39% and 14.65% respectively. Despite the rout, Micron guided fiscal fourth-quarter revenue to $50 billion, signaling that AI memory demand fundamentals remain intact. The KOSPI has now fallen 34% from its June 22nd high of 9,114.55 to 6,023.66, though it remains up 43% year-to-date.
