Credo Launches 1.6T ZeroFlap Optical Transceivers, Testing $600 Million Fiscal 2027 Optical Target
Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd launched a new family of 224G-based ZeroFlap optical transceivers, extending its optical architecture to 1.6T port speeds. The new transceivers combine Credo's 224G-per-lane optical digital signal processor with the Kfir200 silicon photonics PIC and its latest-generation PILOT diagnostics platform, and the family includes 2xDR4, 2xFR4 and DR8 configurations supporting AI scale-out interconnect architectures at 1.6T port speeds. The launch matters because management expects more than $600 million in optical revenues in fiscal 2027, with ZeroFlap optics, silicon photonics PICs and optical DSPs each expected to contribute more than $100 million. Credo's May acquisition of DustPhotonics brought silicon photonics capabilities in-house, and the company recorded its first silicon photonics revenues in the fiscal first quarter while its optical digital signal processor business generated record revenues during the period. Management expects additional fiscal 2027 customer ramps across both 800G and 1.6T products involving hyperscalers and NeoCloud operators, as well as its first 1.6T optical DSP revenues later in fiscal 2027, though GAAP research and development expense rose 118% year over year to $114.5 million in the fiscal first quarter and results remain sensitive to deployment timing.

TD SYNNEX Set to Report Q3 Fiscal 2026 Results on Sept. 24
TD SYNNEX is scheduled to report third-quarter fiscal 2026 results on Sept. 24, before market open. The company expects non-GAAP earnings per share between $4.25 and $4.75, against a consensus mark of $4.64 per share, which would represent an increase of 29.6% from the prior-year quarter's reported figure. Revenue for the quarter is expected between $18.2 billion and $19 billion, with the consensus estimate pegged at $18.8 billion, suggesting growth of approximately 20% from the year-ago quarter. TD SYNNEX has beaten the Zacks Consensus Estimate in each of the trailing four quarters, delivering an average surprise of 21.7%, and the Zacks model predicts another beat this time, with an Earnings ESP of +7.37% and a Zacks Rank #2. Growth is expected to be supported by demand for AI infrastructure, enterprise IT modernization, cloud and cybersecurity, with the Hyve Solutions division remaining a key driver as hyperscalers expand AI and cloud infrastructure deployments.
Rothschild Redburn Initiates Nebius and CoreWeave at Sell
Rothschild & Co. Redburn initiated coverage of neoclouds Nebius and CoreWeave with Sell ratings, arguing credit markets are pricing in risks that equities still ignore. The firm set an $84 price target on Nebius and $54 on CoreWeave. In the same note, it started coverage on six Bitcoin miners that have pivoted into AI infrastructure, Core Scientific, TeraWulf, Applied Digital, Cipher Mining, Hut 8 and IREN, all at Neutral. Rothschild's central argument is that hyperscalers carry more real economic leverage than their balance sheets show once off-balance-sheet commitments are counted, a dynamic the firm says could limit the next leg of AI infrastructure spending. Nebius carries the most downside in Rothschild's view, while CoreWeave has less downside risk but a risk-reward the firm still considers unattractive enough to warrant a Sell.
