LENZ Therapeutics IncBofA downgrades Lenz due to slower VIZZ rollout and modest prescription-volume lift, cutting estimates.

Bank of America downgraded Lenz Therapeutics to Neutral from Buy, citing a slower-than-expected rollout of its presbyopia therapy VIZZ. Analyst Jason Gerberry lowered his price target on Lenz to $7 from $31, essentially valuing the company on its cash days after its Q2 2026 results, which beat consensus estimates earlier this week. Gerberry noted that VIZZ, which the FDA greenlighted in July 2025, added $1.7 million in product sales during Q2, mostly unchanged from the preceding quarter, confirming only modest prescription-volume lift since launch. He reduced his FY26 and peak-sales estimates for the drug to $10 million and $372 million from $25 million and $769 million, respectively. Shares of Lenz Therapeutics slipped for the third consecutive session on Thursday.
