LENZ Therapeutics and Arrotex Pharmaceuticals have entered an exclusive license and commercialization agreement for VIZZ, an aceclidine-based eye drop for presbyopia, in Australia and New Zealand. Under the deal, LENZ will receive an upfront payment and a significant profit share of gross margin from product sales, while Arrotex obtains exclusive rights to register and commercialize VIZZ in those markets. This marks LENZ's fifth commercialization partnership for VIZZ outside the United States, following its FDA approval in July 2025 and U.S. launch in October 2025. Arrotex, Australia's largest pharmaceutical company and part of DBG Health, will leverage its extensive pharmacy network to bring the once-daily, preservative-free treatment to patients. VIZZ is the first and only FDA-approved aceclidine-based eye drop designed to restore near vision for up to 10 hours.
