LG Innotek Co LtdLG Innotek targets $647M operating profit by 2031, with strong growth in package solution sales and orders for GDDR7 and PC chipsets.

LG Innotek aims to grow its package solution business to generate USD 647 million in operating profit by 2031, senior vice president Jeffrey Cho announced at a Media Tech Day event in Seoul. The package solution business, which includes high-value-added semiconductor substrates such as RF-SiP, FC-CSP, and FC-BGA, recorded sales of approximately USD 1.11 billion in 2025, up about 18% from 2024, while operating profit surged roughly 82% to approximately USD 83 million. The unit contributed nearly 20% of LG Innotek's total operating profit last year despite accounting for only about 10% of total sales. The company holds an estimated 65% share of the global RF-SiP substrate market and expects that to expand to around 80% this year, while also securing orders for FC-CSP substrates for GDDR7 memory and ramping up FC-BGA production for PC chipsets and CPUs at its new Dream Factory in Gumi.
