Land and Houses Bank, or LH Bank, has announced a partnership with Thailand Privilege Card Company Limited, or TPC, to provide comprehensive financial services to Thailand Privilege Card members residing in Thailand. Mr. Xia Yu Hong, Head of Retail Strategy and Performance Management at LH Bank, said the bank aims to expand its services to Mandarin-speaking customers, a key group that comes to reside, invest and do business in Thailand, with support from CTBC Bank, Taiwan's leading private bank and the parent company. Mrs. Nuananong Mahattanakul, Head of Branch Business Network and Wealth Management at LH Bank, said the partnership covers everything from opening deposit accounts to financial solutions for managing transactions and daily life in Thailand. For Thailand Privilege Card members who are Family Banking customers of the bank, meaning customers with total assets with the bank of at least 500,000 baht, they will receive a waiver of outward international transfer fees and the exchange rate compensation fee of 0.125% of the transfer amount, capped at no more than 2,000 baht or equivalent, for 8 currencies: USD, GBP, SGD, JPY, CNY, EUR, HKD and AUD. Meanwhile, Mr. Manatet Annawat, President of TPC, said TPC is a state enterprise under the supervision of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, with more than 42,000 foreign members, generating revenue of more than 60 billion baht per year, and is the only Residency Program in the world that offers long-stay visa privileges, Airport VIP Services and lifestyle benefits through more than 1,500 partners worldwide and more than 400 partners nationwide.
