MarketWise shares surged 6.4% in extended trading Thursday after the company reported a 56% year-over-year jump in second-quarter billings to approximately 91 million dollars and raised its full-year billings guidance by 10%. Billings for the second quarter was its highest quarterly total since 2023. Paid subscribers reached 400 thousand at June 30, up from 374 thousand at December 31, 2025, while active free subscribers stood at 2.1 million. Dividends paid to Class A shareholders during the quarter were 45 cents per share, with no change to the full-year dividend target of 1.80 dollars per share. CEO David Eifrig cited higher customer acquisition, improved retention, and strong conversion of higher-priced products, and the company now targets full-year 2026 billings of 330 million dollars, a 21.7% increase from fiscal 2025.
