MasTec, Inc. reported record second-quarter 2026 revenues of $4.4 billion, up 23% year over year, with adjusted EBITDA jumping 40% to $384.2 million and adjusted EPS surging 49% to $2.22. The company's 18-month backlog reached a record $21.4 billion, up nearly $5 billion year over year and $1.1 billion sequentially, driven by demand from data centers, power generation, and digital connectivity. The Clean Energy & Infrastructure segment saw revenues soar 43.4% and EBITDA climb 53.9%, with backlog up 58% year over year, while Power Delivery benefited from utility investments in transmission and grid reliability. Pipeline Infrastructure EBITDA nearly doubled, with margins expanding 690 basis points to 18.4%. Management raised its 2026 outlook to $18.2 billion in revenues, $1.6 billion in adjusted EBITDA, and $9.30 in adjusted EPS, supported by the July acquisition of Superior, which added about 3,000 employees and expanded capabilities in electrical contracting and data center infrastructure.
