Medtronic and Apollo Hospitals have inaugurated an 11-bed state-of-the-art intensive care unit at Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. The facility is fully integrated with Medtronic's advanced Acute Care and Monitoring technologies and will serve as a real-world clinical innovation hub for Medtronic's research and development. The partnership was formalized through a memorandum of understanding signed by Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group, Manpreet Singh, CEO of Apollo HealthAxis, and Mandeep Singh Kumar, Managing Director and Vice President for India Subcontinent Countries at Medtronic. Leaders from both organizations emphasized that the collaboration aims to enhance critical care infrastructure, enable more informed care delivery, and support the development of technologies designed to improve patient outcomes in India and globally.
