Meitu, a Chinese selfie photo editing technology company, reported strong results for the first half of 2026, with revenue increasing 22.1% year-on-year to 2.21 billion yuan (approximately 326 million US dollars). Meanwhile, adjusted net profit attributable to the parent company reached 650 million yuan, surging 39.5% year-on-year. Revenue from its core business of photo, video, and design products hit 1.77 billion yuan in the first half, up 30.9%, accounting for 80% of total revenue. As of the end of June, the number of paying members increased by 19.7% to over 18.44 million, setting a record high. Meanwhile, global monthly active users reached 282 million, with users in markets outside mainland China continuing to exceed 100 million.
