Merck KGaA raised its full-year 2026 guidance for organic sales growth, EBITDA pre, and EPS pre after reporting second-quarter net sales of EUR5,434 million, up from EUR5,255 million a year earlier, with organic sales growth accelerating to 4.1%. EBITDA pre increased to EUR1.6 billion from EUR1.46 billion, expanding the margin by 1.6 percentage points to 29.4%, while EPS pre rose 6.9% to EUR2.16. The Life Science division delivered 8% organic sales growth, driven by a 15% organic increase in Process Solutions, and the Electronics division saw organic growth accelerate to 11.7%, fueled by 17% growth in Semiconductor Solutions on AI-related demand. Healthcare organic sales declined 3.4% due to Mavenclad's loss of market exclusivity in the US, though reported sales rose 2.4% to EUR2.2 billion, and the Rare Diseases portfolio generated combined sales of EUR207 million from Ogsiveo and Gomekli in the first half. The company now expects full-year 2026 group net sales of around EUR21 billion to EUR21.8 billion, EBITDA pre of EUR5.9 billion to EUR6.3 billion, and EPS pre of EUR7.90 to EUR8.60.
