Merck reported second-quarter revenue of $16.6 billion, a 5% increase driven by oncology, animal health, and newer product launches. The company posted a loss of $0.13 per share, largely due to a $5.7 billion charge from the Terns Pharmaceuticals acquisition, and raised its 2026 revenue outlook to a range of $66.3 billion to $67.3 billion. KEYTRUDA-family sales grew 4% to $8.4 billion, while WELIREG sales jumped 67% to $271 million. Merck also highlighted the FDA approval of LIPFENDRA, the first oral PCSK9 inhibitor, and positive Phase III results for its sac-TMT cancer candidate in endometrial cancer.
