Meta's net income margin reached 48% in the quarter ended March 31, 2026, compared to Snap's negative 6% margin. Meta attributed its revenue growth to artificial intelligence investments and plans to raise capital expenditures to as high as $145 billion this year, up from $72 billion in 2025. Snap, which has yet to achieve profitability since going public in 2017, saw its stock fall to a 52-week low of $3.81 this year amid ongoing struggles.
