Microchip Technology IncMicrochip launches new clock buffer family, a product development.

Microchip Technology has introduced the SY757xx family of 1.2V-output LVCMOS clock buffers, designed to link the latest SoCs and FPGAs with higher-voltage components while performing voltage translation across a broad operating range. The family includes three products in volume production and eight sampling in limited volumes, offering configurations in three space-saving packages. These single-chip solutions support a 0 Hz to 250 MHz frequency range and a 1.2V to 3.3V voltage-translation input range, with additive jitter as low as 26 femtoseconds. The devices simplify board design and reduce bill-of-materials costs compared to discrete-component approaches, which can compromise signal integrity. The production devices, SY75707TWL-TR, SY75712TWL-TR, and SY75714TWL-TR, are priced from $0.50 to $0.83 per unit in volumes of 10,000.
