Microsoft shares jumped nearly 9% in premarket trading Thursday after the company reported fiscal fourth-quarter results that beat Wall Street estimates, driven by stronger-than-expected Azure cloud growth. For the quarter ended June 30, Microsoft posted adjusted earnings of $4.74 per share on $90 billion in revenue, up 18% year over year, while Intelligent Cloud revenue reached $39.31 billion, exceeding the $38.17 billion consensus. Azure revenue surged 43% year over year, or 39.6% in constant currency. The rally is expected to lift exchange-traded funds with significant Microsoft exposure, including the T-Rex 2X Long Microsoft Daily Target ETF with a 70.74% weighting, the Roundhill MSFT WeeklyPay ETF at 22.2%, and the Defiance AI Hyperscale Leaders ETF at 19.9%, among the 1,006 ETFs that hold Microsoft.
