Becton Dickinson and CompanyBD announced that Dr. Michael Garrison will retire effective October 2 after more than 20 years with the company. Garrison currently serves as executive vice president and president of the Medical Essentials and BioPharma Systems segments. He will remain in his role through the end of the fiscal year while a search for the next president of Medical Essentials is underway. Going forward, BioPharma Systems will report directly to Chairman, CEO and President Tom Polen.
