MKS Instruments IncRising AI-driven wafer fab demand boosts MKS's equipment sales.
MKS Inc. has reported rising demand tied to AI-related semiconductor investment and complex circuit boards, with analysts expecting significant year-over-year growth in upcoming quarterly earnings and revenues. Spyglass Capital Management and other investors have highlighted MKS's leading market share in wafer fabrication equipment as a key reason it could benefit from AI-driven wafer fab and advanced packaging spending. The company recently refinanced €1.0 billion in senior notes and extended loan and revolver maturities, lowering annual cash interest by about US$27 million. MKS's narrative projects $6.5 billion revenue and $1.1 billion earnings by 2029, while the most pessimistic analysts still project about US$5.1 billion revenue and US$697 million earnings by 2029.
