Moneymax, the Philippines platform of MoneyHero Limited, has announced a partnership with East West Banking Corporation to expand access to personal loan products for Filipino consumers. The collaboration enables consumers to discover and compare EastWest personal loans on Moneymax, with eligible applicants starting their loan application on the platform and having their details digitally transmitted to EastWest for processing and approval. This partnership comes amid sustained growth in consumer lending in the Philippines, with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas data showing consumer loans expanded by 21.4% year-on-year in December 2025, outpacing business lending. Shravan Thakur, Chief Commercial Officer of MoneyHero Group, said the partnership strengthens Moneymax's personal loan offering and reinforces its role as a comparison platform, while EastWest CEO Jerry N. Go highlighted the collaboration's focus on connecting customers to practical banking solutions at the point of exploring financing options.
