MP Materials reported record neodymium-praseodymium production of 1,006 metric tons in the first quarter of 2026, a 117% year-over-year increase and the first time the company surpassed the 1,000-ton threshold. NdPr sales volumes also reached a record 917 metric tons, up 63% from the prior-year quarter. The Materials segment, which encompasses the company's upstream and midstream operations anchored by the Mountain Pass facility, saw total revenues climb 30% to $72.2 million, driven by a 192% surge in NdPr oxide revenues on higher volumes and stronger pricing. The segment also achieved record production of 12,983 metric tons of rare earth oxides in concentrate, a 6% increase, while adjusted EBITDA soared 877% to $36.7 million, boosted by $42.3 million in Price Protection Agreement income from the Department of War. The strong quarter builds on 2025 momentum, when the segment sold 1,994 metric tons of NdPr and produced a record 2,599 metric tons.
