MP Materials Corp10-year DoD offtake deal with price floor ensures long-term demand for NdPr products.

MP Materials stock has fallen 42% from its 52-week high despite a historic public-private partnership with the U.S. Department of Defense. The 10-year deal includes a 100% magnet offtake commitment and a price floor of $110 per kilogram for neodymium-praseodymium products. In the first quarter, the company reported record NdPr production of 917 metric tons, a 63% year-over-year increase, with sales up 49% to $90.6 million and adjusted EBITDA of $36.6 million. MP Materials is developing a $1.25 billion magnet manufacturing campus in Texas, expected to begin production in 2028, as it scales up North America's only large-scale rare-earth mining and processing operations.
