US stock futures were mixed on Friday as investors awaited the July jobs report. Nasdaq-100 futures rose 0.5%, while Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 futures were roughly flat. The jobs report, due at 8:30 a.m. ET, is expected to show the US economy added 80,000 positions in July with the unemployment rate holding at 4.2%, according to economists surveyed by Bloomberg. Oil prices extended gains amid uncertainty over a US-Iran peace deal and reports of explosions in the Strait of Hormuz. The New York Fed's one-year inflation expectations data is also due Friday, while earnings reports are expected from Vistra Corp., Oklo, Under Armour, and Wendy's.
