The inclusion triggers mandatory buying by index-tracking funds, which could create short-term demand for NBIS stock. Nebius, valued at a $67 billion market capitalization, has seen its shares surge more than 480% over the past year and 275% in 2026. The company reported first-quarter 2026 revenue of $399 million, up 684% year-over-year, and an adjusted EBITDA margin of 45% for its AI business. Nebius has secured major contracts, including a $27 billion deal with Meta Platforms and a separate agreement with Microsoft, while Nvidia made a $2 billion equity investment in March 2026.
