Novo Nordisk has provided an update on its share repurchase programme, reporting transactions made between 24 and 28 August 2026. Under the programme initiated on 6 May 2026, the company repurchased 1,050,000 B shares at an average price of approximately DKK 302.09, totaling about DKK 317.2 million. This brings the accumulated repurchases under this programme to 16,220,000 B shares worth DKK 4,907,673,815. The programme is part of a larger buyback of up to DKK 15 billion over 12 months starting 4 February 2026, under which the company has so far repurchased 30,979,179 B shares at an average price of DKK 281.08, totaling DKK 8,707,673,805. Novo Nordisk now holds 45,019,876 B shares as treasury shares, representing 1.0% of its share capital.
