NRF is sending its premium seasoning brand SABZU to partner with Pho, a leading Vietnamese restaurant chain in the United Kingdom, to launch Pink Sriracha, the world's first pink Sriracha sauce, exclusively at more than 50 Pho locations nationwide throughout August. The pink colour comes from hibiscus flowers and the sauce uses quality chillies from Thailand, tapping into the Fricy trend, or fruity-spicy flavours, that is gaining popularity among younger consumers. Chief Executive Officer Dan Pathomvanich said this collaboration is an important step for SABZU in expanding brand awareness in the European market, and Libby Andrews, Marketing Director at Pho, said Pho is the only restaurant in the UK serving this sauce exclusively throughout August.
