NRx Pharmaceuticals subsidiary HOPE Therapeutics has initiated patient treatment for major depressive disorder using FDA-cleared Zeta TMS Navigation Systems at its Florida clinics. The system uses AI and computer vision to register patient MRI or CT images in under two minutes and track the TMS coil with sub-millimetric accuracy. This marks a transition from research deployment to active patient care and expands HOPE's interventional psychiatry platform, which includes ketamine, Spravato, TMS, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. NRx also plans to use the platform in its upcoming SPARC-TMS trial evaluating NRX-101 for depression and suicidality.
