Nuvation Bio IncReports strong revenue growth, expanded pipeline, and raised capital via convertible notes.

Nuvation Bio reported second-quarter total revenue of $31.7 million, including $23.2 million in net U.S. product revenue from its ROS1-targeted lung cancer therapy IBTROZI, a 25% sequential increase. Approximately 160 patients began treatment during the period, with about 85% of new starts in the first-line setting, up from roughly 30% at launch. The company also announced an expanded clinical development plan for safusidenib in IDH1-mutant glioma, citing updated Phase II data showing a 52% objective response rate and a 79% three-year progression-free survival rate, and adding a randomized Phase III trial and a Phase II study in earlier-stage and post-vorasidenib patients. Nuvation held $661 million in cash and marketable securities as of June 30 and raised approximately $279.1 million in net proceeds through a convertible notes offering, which management said should support operations through profitability and the anticipated safusidenib launch.
