Nvidia has increased its stake in neocloud operator Nebius by more than $3.8 billion, raising its ownership to roughly 9.3% of the company. A regulatory filing revealed the chipmaker added over 21 million shares to its existing 1.19 million shares, bringing Nebius to 12% of Nvidia's investment portfolio. The newly acquired shares came from a warrant and cannot be sold before September 11, 2026. Nebius provides GPU-as-a-service for AI workloads and reported first-quarter revenue of $399 million, up 684% year over year, with an annualized run rate of $1.92 billion for its core AI services. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has praised Nebius as a world-class AI cloud provider, and the neocloud market is projected to grow from $25 billion in 2025 to $400 billion by 2031.
