NVIDIA CorporationNvidia in talks to invest hundreds of millions in Cloverleaf Infrastructure, its second energy-focused investment this week.

Nvidia is in talks to invest in data center power facilitator Cloverleaf Infrastructure, The Wall Street Journal reported. The deal, which could be announced as soon as today, could see the chip giant invest potentially as much as hundreds of millions of dollars into Cloverleaf, according to people familiar with the matter. Cloverleaf handles signing power agreements with utility companies, which then allows developers to build on land and have access to power, and the company has a pipeline of more than 10 gigawatts of power. Such a deal would be Nvidia's second energy-focused investment of the week, following its $1.5 billion investment into SB Energy to help facilitate a data center deal in Ohio. Nvidia did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Seeking Alpha.
