NVIDIA CorporationNVIDIA pivots to CPUs with Vera CPU, targeting $200B market and $20B CPU revenue.
NVIDIA has shifted its growth strategy toward CPUs, framing the move as an entry into a $200 billion total addressable market that it has never addressed before. Management now leads with its Vera CPU and disclosed visibility to nearly $20 billion in total CPU revenue this year, aiming to become the world’s leading CPU supplier. The pivot comes as the company has quietly written down its China data center compute revenue to zero, after previously being unable to ship $2.5 billion in H20 revenue in a single quarter due to U.S. export controls. Data center revenue still surged 92% year over year in the latest quarter, but overall revenue growth has decelerated from its three-year average. The company’s stock has returned 62% over the last two years and remains near all-time highs.
