NVIDIA CorporationNvidia guided FY2028 revenue growth of 70% (above 45% consensus) and beat Q2 estimates with $96.2B revenue and $2.22 EPS.

Nvidia issued a rare long-term revenue outlook that exceeded Wall Street expectations, aiming to close a gap between internal projections and analyst estimates. The company guided to 70% revenue growth for fiscal year 2028, surpassing the 45% growth analysts had forecast, with CEO Jensen Huang noting that growth could exceed 100% if not for memory chip shortages. JPMorgan analyst Harlan Sur said the decision was motivated by a meaningful gap between Street estimates and Nvidia's internal view, which could have created supply-chain planning challenges. Nvidia's fiscal second quarter results also beat expectations, with adjusted earnings per share of $2.22 on revenue of $96.2 billion, versus the $2.09 and $92.3 billion anticipated. Data Center revenue reached $89 billion, above the projected $85.8 billion, while Edge Computing brought in $7.2 billion versus $6.6 billion expected. The company projected fiscal third quarter revenue between $105.8 billion and $110.1 billion, ahead of the $105.1 billion consensus, marking the first quarter above $100 billion, according to Stifel analyst Ruben Roy.
