Nvidia Corp. just posted a record quarter, reporting $96.2 billion in revenue, more than double the prior year, and declaring an AI inflection point, but the company also flagged rising memory costs and its growing role in financing customer growth. Data center revenue hit $89 billion, up 117% year over year, with the ACIE segment growing 138% to $40.0 billion, now roughly half of data center business. Nvidia returned $26 billion to shareholders, including $20 billion in buybacks, and has about $99 billion left in repurchase authorization. However, CFO Colette Kress said gross margin will bottom at 71% to 72% in the fourth quarter due to memory cost spikes, and the company has invested nearly $50 billion in frontier AI labs while extending payment terms, with days sales outstanding rising to 60 days. Nvidia also built no China data center revenue into its outlook, and short interest is just 1.23% of float, with a forward P/E of 25.97.
