Electronic Arts IncTender offer settlement is part of acquisition process; impact on EA depends on deal completion.

Oak-Eagle AcquireCo announced the final results and settlement of its tender offers for any and all of Electronic Arts’ 1.850% senior notes due 2031 and 2.950% senior notes due 2051. As of the July 30 expiration, holders tendered $68.83 million of the $750 million outstanding 2031 notes and $7.922 million of the $750 million outstanding 2051 notes. The offers settled on August 4 and were conditioned on the closing of the acquisition of Electronic Arts by an investor consortium consisting of The Public Investment Fund, Silver Lake and Affinity Partners. The company also defeased obligations on the remaining untendered notes by depositing U.S. government obligations in a trust. J.P. Morgan Securities acted as dealer manager and solicitation agent.
