Visa Inc. Class AVisa's virtual purchasing cards are used to disburse funds in the new deep-tier construction financing solution, expanding its payment volume use case

OCBC, Visa, and Doxa have deployed Singapore's first deep-tier financing solution through the Doxa Connex platform, expanding access to working capital for subcontractors and suppliers deeper within the construction supply chain. The solution, which went live in August, enables eligible subcontractors to receive payment ahead of invoice due dates once a main contractor or developer digitally approves a work claim, with funds disbursed via OCBC virtual purchasing cards. Early adopter Kimly Construction is deploying the solution across two existing projects, and selected subcontractors are being onboarded. The initiative addresses cash flow pressures that can cause payment delays of up to 100 days, and the partners aim to scale it across Singapore's built environment sector.
